The team is multi skilled and this role provides an opportunity to learn new skills and share your talent. You will be carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance recorded on JLL's CAFM system and your duties will include carrying out regular inspections and repairs on the building fabric/facilities, basic plumbing and drainage repairs, water hygiene, painting, carpentry/joinery, as well as many other tasks that working in a busy shopping centre requiresDuties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out all works requested in a professional and proactive mannerEngage with specialist subcontractorsUnderstand and be aware of the requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation and be equally aware of your own roles and responsibilities within JLLMaintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site worksInspect the condition of services and proactively deal with repairs as requiredKeep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable mannerEnsure accurate detailed reporting and escalate issues where requiredEnsure that all materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislationActively participate in the health and safety processes required under JLL policies and procedures including, but not limited to, completing risk assessments, reporting good catch /near miss observations, adhering to COSHH guidanceUndertake any other reasonable instruction from the Contract ManagerAdditional training will be provided as necessaryQualifications, Skills & ExperienceExperience in building maintenance or facilities management•Ability to use PDA with knowledge of computer software/CAFM systemsFabric Engineer apprenticeship/ Carpentry & Joinery qualifications or similarExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsWilling to work flexibly within a teamAbility to work to time constraints while maintaining high standards and attention to detailSmart appearance, presentableAble to work unsupervisedAdaptable and flexible approach to work requirements, willing to accept change.Customer focusedReliableCIRCUMSTANCESResides geographically near to job siteCompliant to company and site personnel policiesFlexible to work weekends and on call rota on a rolling pattern shared with the rest of the teamLocation:On-site -Bristol, GBRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.
