Improver-Level Air Conditioning Engineer (F-Gas Cat 1)Location: South of EnglandSalary: £28,000£34,000 + Van + Overtime + TrainingType: PermanentAbout the RoleWere supporting a leading FM & HVAC contractor as they expand their mobile AC team across retail and commercial sites. Theyre looking for an Improver-Level AC Engineer with F-Gas Cat 1 whos ready to take the next step in their development.This role is ideal for someone who has the fundamentals in place and wants structured progression towards full engineer status.What Youll Be DoingAssisting with AC installs (splits, multi-splits, cassettes)Supporting senior engineers with diagnostics and repairsCarrying out PPMs , filter changes, coil cleans and basic checksRefrigerant recovery, vacuums, pressure testingLogging defects and completing job sheetsLearning VRV/VRF systems with hands-on mentoringWorking safely and professionally on customer sitesWhat You NeedF-Gas Category 1 (essential)Level 2/3 RAC qualification (completed or in progress)Some hands-on experience with AC or refrigeration systemsGood mechanical/electrical awarenessA positive attitude and willingness to learnFull UK driving licenceWhat Youll GetClear progression pathway to Junior Engineer ?
