Main duties include:Ensuring that our residents food needs are met and that their wishes and expectations are being exceeded.Carefully planning meals to ensure that they are ofhigh quality and appetizingly presented, and that food safety guidelines are followed at all timesOrdering food stock, adhering to budgets when ordering ingredients from suppliersSupervising Catering Assistants, ensuring they understand their duties and perform them to a high standardEnsuring all appropriate records are in place in accordance with Environmental Health and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority GuidelinesEnsuring all areas of the kitchen, including storage areas, are kept meticulously clean and tidy at all timesEnsuring that food is stored and cooked in accordance with Environmental Health RegulationsAssuring the quality of food items delivered to the kitchenRegular stock rotation of provisions in refrigerators, freezers and store roomsUsing and cleaning all equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelinesMaintaining a safe environment for residents at all timesAdhering to the Fire Policy, COSHH Regulations and all other Health and Safety proceduresIn return for your hard work, you will receive support and guidance through your journey at Mission Care, as well as opportunities to progress your career.Apply today to join our dedicated team!Please note, due to the high volume of applicants, only suitable candidates will be contacted.TPBN1_UKTJ
