Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm\n
Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeQuest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Router Programmer / Operator on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in bespoke panel processing and precision CNC machining.\n
\nThis is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC professional who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and is looking for a long-term role within a friendly and supportive team.\n
\nYou will be working in a clean, heated and well-ventilated workshop, producing bespoke components for a range of industries.\n
\nThe Role\n
\nAs a CNC Router Programmer / Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to manufacture components to customer specifications.\n
\nDuties will include:\n
\nProgramming and operating 3-Axis CNC routersMachining MDF, plywood, melamine-faced boards and other sheet materialsReading and working from technical drawings and job specificationsCarrying out routine machine maintenance and daily checksChecking quality throughout the manufacturing processEnsuring work is completed accurately and efficientlyMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working areaWorking closely with the wider team to meet production deadlinesFollowing all health and safety procedures\n
\nWhat Were Looking For\n
\nMinimum 3 years experience programming and operating 3-Axis CNC routersExperience working with MDF, plywood, melamine-faced boards and similar materialsStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipGood understanding of CNC machine maintenance and careExcellent timekeeping and reliabilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsPositive attitude and willingness to support the wider teamJoinery or woodworking experience would be advantageous\n
