Labourer

Location: One Central Square, Cardiff

Rate: £16.88 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)

Contract Type: Temporary / Site-Based

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join a busy construction project at One Central Square, Cardiff. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations, assisting tradespeople, maintaining site standards, and ensuring work areas remain safe and organised.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous construction site experience who is looking to work as part of a professional and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled trades and site management teams with daily tasks.
\n
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site.
\n
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organised working areas.
\n
• Removing waste materials and disposing of them appropriately.
\n
• Assisting with deliveries and stock movement.
\n
• Supporting site set-up and general site duties.
\n
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
\n
• Using hand tools and equipment safely when required.
\n
• Carrying out general labouring duties as directed by site management.
\n

Essential Requirements

\n
• Valid CSCS Card.
\n
• Previous experience working on construction sites.
\n
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude.
\n
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling duties.
\n

Desirable Requirements

\n
• Experience supporting multiple trades on commercial construction projects.
\n
• Manual Handling certification.
\n
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
\n
• Own PPE and basic tools.
\n
