Azure Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid - LondonSalary: Up to £60,000 We're working with a growing technology consultancy looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design and deliver modern Azure-based data solutions for a range of enterprise clients. This is a customer-facing role where you'll work closely with clients to build scalable, secure data platforms while collaborating with a talented engineering team. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and progress into technical architecture or leadership roles.Key Responsibilities\n

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
\n
• Build data models and analytics solutions using Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage.
\n
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes.
\n
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
\n
• Troubleshoot data issues and ensure solutions are secure, scalable and high performing.
\n
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices.
\n

About You You'll have:\n

\n
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Data Engineering.
\n
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics and Data Lake Storage.
\n
• Development experience in Python, Scala or SQL.
\n
• Knowledge of data modelling and analytics solutions.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a client-facing environment.
\n
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
