Job Description: Pertemps are currently recruiting for Yard Operative for a client based in Cardiff. This role is a full time temporary ongoing position.

\n Location: Cardiff

\n Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour.

\n Shifts: 08:00 - 16:00

\n As a Yard Operative, your duties will include:
\n Remove plastic storage bags from containers.

\n

\n
• Empty the contents and secure in storage areas.
\n
• Move contents into Recycling and compactor skips.
\n
• Store each part in relevant bins.
\n
• Loaded and unloading containers.
\n
• Ensure all health and safety briefings are adhered to.
\n
• Reporting any mishaps, near misses to relevant parties
\n
• This is physically demanding role, and the applicant must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
\n

\n The successful candidate for the Yard Operative role will also need the following skills:\n
\n

\n
• Experience within a fast-paced yard environment.
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Ability to solve problems.
\n
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
\n
• Forklift Licence is desirable.
\n
