Estimator - Bolton Are you a Estimator looking to join a growing and well-established business where you can develop your skills and build a long-term career? We're recruiting on behalf of Acoustic Solutions, a specialist contractor based in Bolton, for an organised and motivated Estimator to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with estimating experience, ideally within construction or a related industry, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and delivering accurate quotations for a variety of projects. The Role As a Estimator, you will support the commercial team by preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for acoustic solutions across a range of commercial and residential projects. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing Assisting with the preparation and submission of tenders Updating estimates as project requirements change Maintaining accurate project records and documentation Working closely with the sales, design and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors About You We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and eager to develop their career within a specialist construction business. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience in an Estimator or Junior Estimator role Experience within the construction industry (preferred) Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Good organisational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams Experience using estimating software would be advantageous A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths What's in it for You?
