Our client is seeking a skilled driver to manage collections of hazardous waste, operate skip loaders, RORO, FEL and HIAB equipment on a stable daytime shift with no nights out. Why you’ll love this role: * Varied work including hazardous waste collection, skip loading, and HIAB operations * Join a reputable client committed to safety and compliance * Work routes from Newhaven to Devon plus local Southampton deliveries Pay & Shifts: * £16.48 per hour (Up to £480 based on a 40-hour week) * Consistent daytime hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:30 * No overnight stays — enjoy your evenings at home What you’ll be doing: * Safely driving a Class 2 HGV on daily routes with local work * Collecting hazardous waste with adherence to strict safety and environmental standards * Operating skip loaders, RORO systems, FEL machinery, and HIAB equipment * Performing vehicle safety checks before and after shifts * Assisting with loading/unloading and securing cargo * Maintaining accurate delivery and collection records * Communicating clearly with the team and clients to ensure smooth operations What we’re looking for: * Valid Class 2 HGV licence with relevant endorsements * Experience handling hazardous waste and operating skip loaders * Proven skills with FEL, HIAB, or RORO equipment * Strong health and safety commitment * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently * Good communication skills and a positive mindset Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK’s leading logistics companies.
