We're recruiting for an experienced Python Developer to join a successful and growing manufacturing business, helping to develop, support and enhance business-critical applications, data platforms, integrations and automation solutions.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving system reliability and delivering solutions that drive real business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support internal applications, APIs, integrations and data pipelines.
\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across web applications, databases and cloud platforms.
\n
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
\n
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
\n
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD and release processes.
\n
• Support the ongoing development of reporting, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• Minimum 5 years' software development experience.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, SQL, FastAPI, BigQuery, MongoDB and GCP.
\n
• Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud deployment and data pipelines.
\n
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
\n
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing and production support.
\n
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n

Desirable

\n
• SAP ERP experience.
\n
• Manufacturing sector experience.
\n
• Exposure to AI, automation and data warehousing solutions.
\n

• £45,000 - £55,000 salary
