We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.The below job description will outline this position of: CTV Deckhand (Onboard)Typically, this person will support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the vessel, assisting with deck operations, maintenance tasks and general seamanship duties while ensuring compliance with all maritime safety regulations.HSB Technicals client is an established and well-regarded business entity.Duties and Responsibilities of the CTV Deckhand (Onboard): Assist with mooring operations, vessel tie-ups and safe passenger transfersSupport cargo handling and equipment loading/unloading operationsCarry out routine deck maintenance including cleaning, painting and preservation workAssist with basic mechanical tasks and engine room support where requiredMaintain cleanliness and general upkeep of deck areas and equipmentParticipate in regular vessel inspections and safety drillsEnsure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and company proceduresAssist the Master and Engineer as required during operationsMaintain accurate logs and report any defects or safety concerns promptlyCarry out all duties in accordance with STCW regulations and company policiesQualifications and Requirements for the CTV Deckhand (Onboard):British / Right to Work in the UKPrevious experience working onboard CTVs or similar workboats (Desirable)AEC 1 (Essential)All STCW certifications to be in date, including ENG1Good understanding of deck operations and vessel safety proceduresAbility to work effectively within a small crew environmentStrong work ethic and proactive attitudeFull UK Driving Licence (Desirable)This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role.TPBN1_UKTJ
