\nOur client is an established and highly respected manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Product Support Manager to lead the Product Support team, ensuring customers, partners, and internal teams receive accurate, practical, and timely technical support.
\nThe Product Support Managers primarily focus will be on team leadership, workload planning, reporting and on-time delivery, supported by technical guidance, escalation support, and application knowledge regarding the integration of our clients products into existing and new applications.
\nProduct Support Manager - Key responsibilities
\nLead the Product Support function, ensuring customers have the technical expertise, documentation, and guidance they need to integrate our clients products safely, effectively, and with confidence.
\nThe Product Support Manager is responsible for providing clear visibility of team workload, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality technical support. They oversee performance reporting, monitor team effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement across the function.
\nThe role also involves coaching and developing Technical Leads and their teams, maintaining robust support processes, managing technical escalations, and ensuring customer requirements, technical deliverables, and improvement initiatives are completed to agreed quality standards and timescales.
\nProduct Support Manager Skills & Experience

- STEM related Degree is preferred. \n
- Manager/Leader with experience in application engineering, product support, project management or a related technical leadership role. \n
Experience gained within the automotive, transportation, aerospace, forestry, agricultural or earthmoving industry would be highly beneficial.
\nProven capability in people management, workload planning, prioritisation, resource allocation, action tracking, performance management, reporting, and delivery control.
\nStrong mechanical and electrical knowledge, experienced producing or reviewing BOMs, CAD drawings, HAZIDs, specifications, technical reports, and customer guidance.
\nConfident reporting KPIs, workload status, overdue actions, risks, blockers, and completion performance.
\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and delivery discipline.
\nThe Product Support Manager position is offering £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary plus great benefits! This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday Friday 8.30am 4.30pm. Based at our clients North Yorkshire office with flexibility to attend customer sites.
