\n Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client based in Bath, who are actively looking to recruit an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their busy team on a permanent, full-time basis.\n
\n This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within an automotive or parts environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced role and providing excellent customer service.\n
What you will be doing:\n
\n Working as part of a busy Parts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring customers and technicians receive the correct parts efficiently and on time.\n
\n Your duties will include:\n
\n
    \n
  • Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records of parts and supplies.
  • \n
  • Assisting customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts for their vehicles.
  • \n
  • Processing parts orders, deliveries and returns.
  • \n
  • Liaising with suppliers to source and order parts as required.
  • \n
  • Coordinating with technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure parts are available when needed.
  • \n
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of parts warranties.
  • \n
  • Updating internal systems and ensuring all parts-related administration is completed accurately.
  • \n
  • Providing a professional and helpful service to customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • \n
  • Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the Parts Department.
  • \n
What you will need to succeed:\n

    \n
  • Previous experience within a Parts Department or automotive environment is preferred.
  • \n
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • \n
  • A professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • \n
  • Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • \n
  • A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach.
  • \n
What you will receive in return:\n

  • Basic salary: £29,304.60 per annum

  • OTE: £31,000 per annum
