Workchain Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join a busy retail distribution operation based in Burton.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. You will be responsible for completing store deliveries, working with roll cages, and providing an excellent service to customers at each delivery point.

The Role:\n
    \n
  • \n

    Driving a Class 2 vehicle delivering goods to retail stores and commercial locations

    • \n
  • \n

    Completing multi-drop store deliveries across the local and regional area

    • \n
  • \n

    Delivering and collecting roll cages at customer sites

    • \n
  • \n

    Loading and unloading cages safely and efficiently

    • \n
  • \n

    Completing vehicle safety checks before and after each shift

    • \n
  • \n

    Ensuring all delivery paperwork and documentation is completed accurately

    • \n
  • \n

    Providing professional and friendly customer service at every delivery point

    • \n
  • \n

    Complying with all road transport legislation, including drivers hours and tachograph regulations

    • \n
Requirements:\n
    \n
  • \n

    Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

    • \n
  • \n

    Valid Driver CPC qualification

    • \n
  • \n

    Valid Digital Tachograph Card

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience with store deliveries, multi-drop work, or cage deliveries is advantageous

    • \n
  • \n

    Good knowledge of drivers hours and working time regulations

    • \n
  • \n

    Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work

    • \n
