Were working with a leading defence programme in Stevenage looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support assembly and integration across electronic and electro-mechanical systems.This role sits within a fast-paced production environment, supporting builds from sub-assembly level through to full system integration.\n

\nWhat youll be doing:\n
- \n
- Supporting electronic and electro-mechanical assembly builds (CCA through to system level) \n
- Translating engineering drawings into clear manufacturing instructions \n
- Resolving production and process issues on the shop floor \n
- Supporting FMEA, FAI and validation activities \n
- Updating build processes, tooling and route cards \n
- Working closely with production, quality and engineering teams \n
\nWhat theyre looking for:You must meet one of the following qualification pathways:\n
- \n
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard) \n
- \n
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 4 academic qualification (HNC, diploma, etc.) \n
- \n
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ) \n
- \n
- Degree in a relevant Engineering subject. \n
\nAdditional Skill Requirements:\n
- \n
- Knowledge to interpret design drawings to produce manufacturing build instructions for skilled and semi-skilled operators \n
- Experience in Electronic Sub Assembly manufacture through to System level builds and expertise and knowledge of the assembly process for small/miniature Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a diverse team and the ability to read, analyse and interpret documents for accuracy and compliance with Code \n
- Effective collaboration, customer understanding, and prompt response are crucial \n
- Understand and work with Company Processes and Procedures \n
- It is highly essential to have Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) training and SAP experience \n
