Urgent Contract Technician / Bike Mechanic
\nLocation: Coventry, West Midlands
Position Type: Contractor (Short term Contract )
Hours: Approx. 40/60 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £18.00 per hour (Dependent on experience and certifications)

We specialise in technical support for vehicle upgrades, prototype builds, and electrification projects. We are currently focusing on high-priority contracts and require an immediate, skilled Contractor Technician / Bike Mechanic to join our workshop.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Diagnostics & Repairs: Quality repairs, maintenance, and safety checks on motor bikes, and assemblies. \n
- PDI Assessments: Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and quality audits on new motor bikes to ensure perfect assembly and safety standards. \n
- Component Tuning: Service advanced components including modern drivetrains. \n
- Workshop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, safe, organised, and presentable workspace, adhering strictly to factory health and safety regulations. \n
Contractor Requirements

- Technical Expertise: Proven practical experience working as a mechanic or technician in a premium super bikes workshop, or manufacturing environment. Must be able to work independently from day one. \n
- Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of current standards, specifically modern bike systems and modern drivetrains. \n
- Certifications (Preferred): Level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalent industry training is highly desirable. \n
- Tools & Insurance: Possession of your own professional specialist hand tools is a major advantage. \n
- Tax Status: Responsible for your own self-employment taxes, National Insurance contributions, and VAT (if applicable). \n
