\nAt St Elizabeths Centre, we have two vacancies available for passionate and motivated Band 5/6 Occupational Therapists to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting children, young people, and adults with complex needs. One position is a permanent role, while the second is a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity coveroffering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable specialist experience within a highly supportive team.\n

About the Role\n
\nAs part of our Occupational Therapy team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions that support individuals to maximise their independence, participation, wellbeing, and quality of life.\n
\nDepending on experience, the role can be offered at Band 5 or Band 6 level, with appropriate supervision and development support provided.\n
\nYou will:\n
\n

• Deliver person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions
\n
• Support individuals with sensory, physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
\n
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, PBS Practitioners, Education, and Care teams
\n
• Develop therapy programmes and specialist recommendations
\n
• Support individuals to achieve meaningful goals and increase independence
\n
• Provide advice, guidance, and training to staff and families
\n
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and clinical reviews
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HCPC and professional standards
\n

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
\n
• HCPC registration (or pending registration for newly qualified applicants)
\n
• Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT)
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
\n
• Commitment to person-centred practice and safeguarding
\n
