Newcastle (Hybrid 3 days per week)

£54,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

I'm working with a global consultancy that's continuing to grow its Digital Experience and User-Centred Design capability and is looking to hire a User Researcher to join its Newcastle team.

\n


\n

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes across government and regulated industries, helping shape services that are genuinely user-focused.

\n


\n

You'll work alongside multidisciplinary Agile teams, influencing product decisions through high-quality user research and insights.

\n


\n

You'll be involved in:

\n
    \n
  • Planning, recruiting and conducting user research sessions
  • \n
  • Running remote and face-to-face research, analysing findings and presenting recommendations
  • \n
  • Translating user insights into actionable requirements for design and development teams
  • \n
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Service Designers and UX Designers within Agile delivery teams
  • \n
  • Championing user-centred design principles across complex digital transformation programmes
  • \n

What They're Looking For

    \n
  • Commercial experience working as a User Researcher
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of GDS and experience delivering to GDS standards
  • \n
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams
  • \n
  • Confidence facilitating user research sessions and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • \n
  • A passion for advocating for users and influencing product direction through evidence-based research
  • \n
  • A portfolio demonstrating user research, user journeys, personas, usability testing and related UX artefacts
  • \n
\n
