Class 2 Driver (Hookloader / Roll-On Roll-Off)

We're recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Waterbeach, Cambridge (CB25).
\n This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent, full-time work with enhanced weekend earnings.

### The Role

\n

You'll be driving a 6/8-wheel Hookloader (Roll-On Roll-Off) vehicle, collecting large recycling containers from household recycling centres across Cambridgeshire and transporting them to designated disposal facilities.

### Working Pattern

• Thursday to Monday (5 days per week)
\n
• 05:30 15:30
\n

\n

### Pay

£16.41 per hour Additional weekend allowance of £55 per day £110 extra for working both Saturday and Sunday Overtime available when required \n

### Contract

Ongoing work expected until October 2026\n

### Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Experience driving Hookloader/Roll-On Roll-Off vehicles is desirable, but training may be available for the right candidate Good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations Reliable, punctual and able to work independently\n
