HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on a temp-to-permanent basis.

You will be responsible for delivering furniture to schools across the UK. This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Drivers can expect to complete between 1 and 8 deliveries per day, depending on the size and complexity of each order. Routes may cover locations throughout the UK.

  Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

  Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

\n
• \n

  Willingness to stay away from home when required

\n
• \n

  Comfortable sleeping in the vehicle cab during overnight stays

\n
• \n

  Prepared to undertake a DBS check (paid for by the company)

\n
• \n

  Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the day

\n
• \n

  Strong customer service skills and a professional, presentable manner

\n
• \n

  Looking for long-term employment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position

  Monday to Friday - 7am flexible starts

\n
• \n

  Approximately 50 hours per week

\n
• \n

  Start times typically between 05:00 and 07:00, depending on delivery schedules and locations

  Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and stay away overnight when required

  Commitment to providing excellent service to customers
