Class 1 HGV LGV Driver - Night Trunking

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Night Trunker to join our transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting trailers and freight between distribution centres, depots, and customer locations while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. NO MANUAL HANDLING. SUNDAY 2ND START AT 20:30PMKey Responsibilities Complete scheduled trunking routes between depots and distribution centres.Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections before and after each shift.Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on schedule.Accurately complete transport documentation and use electronic POD systems where required.Comply with all DVSA regulations, drivers' hours legislation, and Working Time Directive requirements.Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.Report vehicle defects, delays, incidents, or accidents promptly.Secure loads correctly and ensure trailers are checked before departure.Drive in a safe, courteous, and fuel-efficient manner.Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and colleagues.Essential Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Licence.Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.Digital Tachograph Card.Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and road transport legislation.Excellent driving skills with a strong safety focus.Good communication and time management skills.Ability to work independently during night shifts.Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude.TPBN1_UKTJ
