PurposeofJob: AssetDataManagerToberesponsibletoHeadofStrategicAssetManagementfor:TobeaccountableforprovidingleadershipanddirectionfortheAssetDataTeam.ToleadonassetdatamattersforR&Isectionandfacilitateexcellentandcustomerfocusedservicetoresidents.ToensureappropriateuseofRBGs30-yearplan,distillinginformationintofiveyearannualinvestmentplansToleadondevelopingafive-yearinvestmentplanalignedwithappropriatedatawhichreflecttheneedsofthestockandthestrategicobjectivesofRBG.AnalysetrendsinresponsiverepairsandvoidstoreducedemandandimproveefficiencyToworkcloselywithkeystakeholders,includingResidentsGroups,Membersandkeypartnersandmanagecustomerexpectationseffectively.TodeputisefortheHeadofStrategicAssetManagementasrequired.Managesupto2directlymanagedstaffonly.ManagesconsultantsandcontractorsMainDuties: AssetDataManagerUndertakeholisticanalysistounderstandtheperformanceofthestockandintroduceappropriateactionplansofinterventionordisinvestmentinnon-performingassetstoensurelong-termviabilityofRBGpropertyportfolio.WorkflexiblywiththeRepairsandInvestmentSeniorManagementTeamandacrossHousingandSaferCommunities,toprovideeffectiveleadershipandmanagementthatwillcontributetothecontinuousimprovementoftheserviceandthedirectorate.LiaisewithcolleaguesinRepairsandInvestment,otherHousingandCouncildepartmentstoensureeffectiveplanninganddeliveryofcapitalworksProgrammes.Provideanalysisofdatatomakebestuseofproperties,individualstockviabilityandlanduseoptionsEnsurestockconditioninformationismaintainedforallassetsandlinksintoresponsive,cyclicalandprogrammedmaintenancerecordstoidentifycurrentconditionandfuturerequirements.Manageandleadstafftoachievehighperformanceandeffectiveoperationaldelivery,includingdevelopingandimprovingstaffcapacityandcapability.Manageresourceswell,developingaclearunderstandingoftherelationshipbetweencapitalandHRArevenueresourcesandhowtheycanbebestdeployedtomaximisestockimprovementwhilstgeneratinglongtermrevenuesavings.Knowledge AssetDataManagerEducatedtodegreelevelorequivalentthroughrelevanttraining/experience.Demonstrableknowledgeofassetmanagementlegislation,systems,proceduresandrequirementsegDHS,codeforsustainablehomesetc.Knowledgeofgoodpracticeinassetmanagementplanningwithregardtolong-termmaintenancestrategiesandbusinessplanning.Management/Leadership/Developmentofahighperformingteam.
