Electrician

Location: Kettering & Corby (site-based) Pay: £18.85 per hour PAYE Hours: 37 hours per week Start: Immediate Duration: 3 months initially with the potential to be extended

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a busy maintenance team carrying out work across occupied and void social housing properties.

\n

Duties include:

• Electrical remedial works
\n
• Testing and inspection
\n
• Rewiring of void properties
\n
• Working across domestic housing stock
\n
• Participation in a 1-in-4 out-of-hours call-out rota
\n

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am 4:30pm (30-minute break) Friday: 8:30am 4:00pm (30-minute break) \n

Essential Requirements

City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent) City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent) Proven testing and inspection experience Full UK driving licence\n

Having your own vehicle is beneficial, with mileage paid at 45p per mile, although a company vehicle may be available. Your own standard power tools would also be advantageous.
\n Applicants must be willing to undertake CAT B Asbestos Awareness training if not already certified.
\n Face-to-face interviews will take place in the Kettering/Corby area.
