Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am 4:00pm or 7:30am 4:30pm

Quest Employment is recruiting an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of a well-established business based in Northampton.

\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for operating an 18-tonne HIAB vehicle, delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Operate an 18-tonne Class 2 HIAB vehicle safely and professionally. \n
- Deliver building materials to construction sites, trade customers, residential addresses and new developments. \n
- Complete deliveries across Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties. \n
- Load and unload materials using HIAB equipment. \n
- Ensure all loads are secured correctly before transport. \n
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects. \n
- Follow all road transport legislation and company health and safety procedures. \n
- Maintain a high standard of customer service at every delivery. \n
- Support the branch team when required. \n
- Develop product knowledge and build strong customer relationships. \n
The ideal candidate will have:

- A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. \n
- A valid Driver CPC qualification. \n
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card. \n
- A valid HIAB licence (with at least six months remaining preferred). \n
- Previous experience operating HIAB equipment. \n
- Previous HGV Class 2 delivery driving experience. \n
- Flatbed vehicle experience (desirable). \n
- A clean driving licence. \n
- Be aged 21 or over due to insurance requirements. \n
- Excellent knowledge of road safety and safe loading procedures. \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills. \n
- A reliable, flexible and professional approach. \n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n

- Monday to Friday. \n
- 7:00am 4:00pm or 7:30am 4:30pm. \n
- Occasional Saturday mornings (approximately one in every five weeks for around two hours). \n

- £16.24 per hour. \n
- Permanent, full-time position. \n
