This is a hands-on role Drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of products to customer locations, which includes unloading Caged stock and carrying out physical duties throughout theworkingday.Assuch,applicantsshouldbecomfortableundertakingmanualhandlingactivitiesandworkinginafast-pacedenvironment.Therolecanbephysicallydemandingattimesandmayinvolveworkingoutdoorsinvaryingweatherconditions.

You will be responsible for\n

\n
• In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers stores.
\n
• Completing several multi-drop deliveries a day (the amount each day will vary).
\n
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed after delivery.
\n
• That your vehicle is in good condition at the start and finish of your shift
\n
• Working autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team
\n

You will need\n

\n
• Class 2 Licence Holder
\n
• Driver CPC Holder
\n
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
\n
• Experience of multi-drop; temperature controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential
\n
• Available to work 45 hours a week (overtime available)
\n
• Routes vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work (within a window time)
\n
• Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence, 'Careless Driving', prosecution for mobile phone use or drink driving or have failed to comply with 'Construction of Use'.
\n

Schedules are:

\n

45 hour contract with an alternating 2 weekly rota

\n

\n
• WK-1 Monday - Friday with WK -2 Monday-Saturday with a day off in the week
\n

\n

Or we have

\n

40 Hour Contract

\n

\n
• Wk 1 - Monday Tuesday,Thursday,Friday and Wk 2 - Monday,tuesday,friday,saturday
\n
