The role of the Quantity Surveyor Main Contractor will involve:

Quantity Surveyor position dealing with various permitted development residential conversion projects

Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.

Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.

Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.

Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.

Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor Main Contractor industry with:

Must have Quantity Surveying experience in construction

Ideally have residential or refurbishment experience

Experience within Permitted Development would be highly advantageous

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels

Confident and articulate
