JOB TITLE: Supply chain administratorJOB LOCATION: Peterborough city centre (free parking at the office)JOB TYPE: PermanentJOB SALARY: up to £28000 depending on experienceJOB WORKING ARRANGEMENT: Work from the office Weds & Thurs, work from home Mon, Tues and FriJOB WORKING HOURS: 8am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch: IMPORTANT TO NOTE: You will also work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota and bank holidays on rota too, although weekend and bank holidays are paid on top of a basic salary and typically entail 2 hours of work first thing and then just being available to respond to urgent emails.Your new companyWe are very excited to be the only agency working with this well-established international FMCG business that supplies products to just about every major retailer and high-street name across the UK and Europe. As one of their team is going travelling, we've been asked to help them find a Supply Chain Administrator to join its lovely team in Peterborough. The leadership of the team have 20+ years' service with the company, and you don't stay with a business that long unless you feel valued, supported and happy in your work.Your new roleAs Supply Chain Administrator, your job will be to support the day-to-day operations of the UK Supply Chain team, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, and stock levels are effectively managed.You will have your own portfolio of clients to look after, and you will process their orders, producing and maintaining supply chain reports, monitoring stock availability and liaising with colleagues across the UK and Europe to support stock planning and inbound deliveries. You'll act as a key point of contact for customer service teams regarding stock-related queries, investigate issues using internal systems and help identify practical solutions. You'll also support the wider team with reporting and project work as required.What you'll need to succeedWe're looking for someone with experience within a supply chain, logistics or FMCG environment and who is used to dealing with clients in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working with large volumes of data. You'll have to be highly organised with strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy but organised setting.You'll possess excellent communication skills, enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across different teams and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience of SAP would be advantageous, although this is not essential. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and takes ownership of their work.What you'll get in return
