We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team in Dorking. This Brake Press Operator role offers the opportunity to work with modern CNC equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

\n

As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components, working to engineering drawings and tight tolerances, while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Brake Press Operator looking for a stable, long-term position.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Set and operate CNC brake press machinery as a Brake Press Operator
\n
• Interpret technical drawings and manufacture components to specification
\n
• Carry out self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met
\n
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
\n
• Work as part of a team to achieve production targets
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Proven experience working as a Brake Press Operator
\n
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
\n
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
\n
• Experience working with stainless and mild steel
\n
• Reliable and team-oriented approach
\n

\n

Shift Pattern:

\n

\n
• 40 hours per week (permanent role)
\n
• Rotating weekly shifts:\n
  \n
  • Early: 5:45am 1:45pm
  \n
  • Late: 2:15pm 10:15pm
  \n
\n
• Monday to Friday
\n
• Paid 30-minute break each day
\n

• Candidates must be able to travel to Dorking, as public transport does not support these shift times
\n
