Job Description

Business Development Manager\n
\nDigital Design & Development Agency\n
\nOX7 1 or 2 days a week\n
\n£32,000 base + High OTE\n
\nMost BDM jobs are just cold outreach with a nicer title.\n
\nThis one isnt.\n
\nThis is for someone who can sell, write, think commercially and turn good work into better opportunities.\n
\nYoull be joining a specialist digital agency that builds fast, modern websites, apps and digital products using Sanity CMS, Next.js and Vercel.\n
\nIn plain English, they fix the websites that marketing teams secretly hate.\n
\nThe slow ones. The clunky ones. The ones nobody can update without asking a developer, opening a ticket, waiting three weeks and quietly losing the will to live.\n
\nYour job is to help more of the right people realise theres a better option.\n
\nThat means business development, yes.\n
\nBut it also means content. Content. Campaigns. Case studies. LinkedIn posts. Email ideas. Pitch copy. Landing pages. Turning clever technical work into simple, sharp messages that make clients think, Yep, we need that.\n
\nYou wont be selling vague digital waffle.\n
\nYoull be talking about better websites, better CMS platforms, better UX, faster pages, cleaner content structures and digital products that are easier to manage and scale, that produces demonstrable ROI for businesses.\n
\nSo if youre a BDM who can actually write, brilliant.\n
\nIf youre a marketer who knows you can sell when theres something decent behind the message, also brilliant.\n
\nWhat youll be doing\n
\n? Finding good-fit prospects and starting useful conversations\n
\n? Creating content that makes the agency more visible\n
\n? Writing LinkedIn posts, case studies, emails, landing pages and pitch material\n
\n? Building campaigns around websites, UX, CMS, SEO, apps and digital products\n
\n? Turning designer and developer brain dumps into things clients understand\n
\n? Supporting proposals, follow-ups and new business activity\n
\n? Helping build a proper growth engine, not just a spreadsheet of cold leads\n
\nWhat youll need\n
\n? Experience in business development, marketing, content or agency growth\n
\n? A background in digital, tech, SaaS, web, creative or marketing\n
\n? The ability to write clearly without sounding like ChatGPT on a company away day\n
\n? Confidence speaking to clients and prospects\n
\n? Enough commercial sense to know what is worth chasing and what is a waste of time\n
\nAbout the company\n
\nTheyre a specialist digital product agency building high-performance headless websites, apps and digital experiences.\n
\nTheyre especially strong in Sanity CMS, UX/UI, frontend development and scalable content architecture.\n
\nThe work has substance. That matters.\n
\nBecause when the work is good, your job is not to polish rubbish. Its to get the right people to notice.\n
\nWhat youll get\n
\n? A proper mix of business development, marketing and content creation\n
\n? A genuinely useful digital proposition to take to market\n
\n? The chance to shape how the agency wins work\n
\n? Exposure to modern web, app, CMS and product projects\n
\n? A role that can grow as the agency grows\n
\nHow to apply\n
\nCV not perfect? Doesnt matter.\n
\nSend what youve got, or send your LinkedIn profile. We can sort the formal bit later.\n
