Job Description
Take part in making a significant difference by providing vital behavioral support and expertise to students in both Autism and Early Years Programs. Key Qualifications:
- For BCBA roles: Active BCBA certification is required
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- For Behavior Specialist roles: Delaware PARA Permit required; degree needed, with experience ideally between RBT and BCBA level
- Experience in ABA programs and/or pursuit of BCBA certification valued
- Strong background in behavioral support, especially within school settings
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Implement evidence-based behavior strategies to address student needs
- Train and support school staff in positive behavior supports and interventions
- Collect, analyze, and report data to monitor student progress and inform programming
- Regularly collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support program goals
- Provide direct support within Autism and PreK/Early Years classrooms
Schedule & Program Details:
- Full-time contract: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Assignment extends from late August to mid-June
- Programs include multiple Autism and PreK/Early Years classrooms
- On-site, school-based setting
