Job Description
Exciting contract opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a difference in pre-school education. This rewarding itinerant position involves serving young learners across several community areas, including Broomall, Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Aston, Ridley/Woodlyn, and Springfield. Depending on your availability, both full-time and part-time roles are open, accommodating schedules from 2 to 5 days per week.
Current needs include:
- Two full-time SLPs (4-5 days/week) focusing on caseloads in Drexel Hill/Upper Darby and Aston
- One part-time SLP (3 days/week) managing a smaller caseload in Ridley/Woodlyn and potentially Springfield
- Two full-time SLPs for the Low Incidence Program at the Marple Education Center
Role requirements and ideal experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with CCC credentials
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings, with an emphasis on early childhood intervention
- Versatility to support diverse needs in itinerant, school-based environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and fellow specialists
- Willingness to travel to multiple pre-school sites within the assigned community zones
- Commitment to fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct therapy and intervention services to pre-school students
- Conducting evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with school standards
- Developing individualized treatment plans and supporting IEP goals
- Consulting regularly with instructional teams and families to maximize student growth
- Traveling efficiently among assigned sites and managing a flexible caseload
