Staff Pharmacist (Contract - 13 Weeks), chance for extension. Madison, WI

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week plus extension, contract with a respected specialty pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with retail or LTC experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment and using the QS1 pharmacy management system.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately dispense prescription medications.
• Perform order entry and prescription verification using QS1.
• Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure timely prescription processing.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Deliver outstanding patient care while supporting pharmacy workflow.

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license.
• Retail or Long-Term Care pharmacy experience.
• Previous QS1 pharmacy system experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Assignment Details:

• 13-week contract, with extensions.
• Long-Term Care Specialty Pharmacy
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM with rotating weekends
