This full-time, on-site contract opportunity spans the academic year, from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027. You’ll play a vital role in enriching behavioral services across the district, collaborating closely with School Psychologists, and providing expert support in specialized assessments and evaluations.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong expertise in behavioral consultation, evaluative support, and data collection
- Familiarity with specialized tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS for skill assessment
- Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and direct observation within diverse age groups
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting if not previously done for Texas public schools (allow up to 7 days processing)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) staff to develop and implement comprehensive Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIE)
- Conduct specialized and standardized behavioral assessments to identify and address nuanced skill deficits
- Provide actionable guidance and intervention strategies through behavioral consultation
- Serve as an itinerant BCBA across multiple schools, offering support according to the district’s needs
- Maintain detailed data records and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
