Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required
• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong expertise in behavioral consultation, evaluative support, and data collection
• Familiarity with specialized tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS for skill assessment
• Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and direct observation within diverse age groups
• Must complete TEA fingerprinting if not previously done for Texas public schools (allow up to 7 days processing)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) staff to develop and implement comprehensive Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIE)
• Conduct specialized and standardized behavioral assessments to identify and address nuanced skill deficits
• Provide actionable guidance and intervention strategies through behavioral consultation
• Serve as an itinerant BCBA across multiple schools, offering support according to the district’s needs
• Maintain detailed data records and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
