Qualifications and Experience:

• Active license and credentials to practice as a Social Worker in a school or healthcare setting
• Demonstrated experience working with middle school-aged children and/or individuals with severe autism
• Background in behavioral intervention, crisis management, or special education support is highly valued
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and staff
• Leadership skills to mentor and guide Educational Assistants in daily interventions and routines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 social work support to a middle school student, fostering a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
• Develop, implement, and track individualized care and intervention plans centered on student success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support and goal alignment
• Lead by example and coach the Educational Assistant, imparting strategies for effective student engagement and support
• Conduct regular assessments and adapt support strategies as needed to meet evolving needs
