Exciting opportunities are available for two experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), with CCC credentials strongly preferred, to support students in dynamic school settings in the Crown Point, IN area. These are contract roles offering flexible scheduling and varied caseloads, with no SLPA roles open at this time.

Position Details:

Portage Township Assignment (Fegley Intermediate & Crisman Elementary):

  • Full-time: 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, some schedule flexibility offered.
  • Responsible for approximately 100 students, managing diverse speech and language needs across both intermediate and elementary levels.
  • Opportunities to discuss availability of Speech-Language Associate (SLA) support.

Porter Township Assignments (Choose Your Fit):

  • Full-time: 7 hours per day, flexible scheduling options, 30-minute unpaid lunch.
  • Two placement options available:
    • Option A: Developmental Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st grade at Porter Lakes Elementary. Caseload of 70–80 students, typically with 1–2 days weekly of SLA support.
    • Option B: Serve Porter Lakes Elementary Grades 2-3 and Boone Grove Elementary & Middle (Grades 4–8), with a total caseload of approximately 75 students. Sites are conveniently located within a short drive of each other; SLA support availability dependent on licensure.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Experience within elementary and/or middle school settings, with an ability to manage varied caseloads
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat students with a range of speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with educational staff and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and regulatory compliance
