Desired Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Speech Language Pathology license
- Arizona Teaching Certification
- Arizona Fingerprint Card (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatrics and school-aged children
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are encouraged to apply
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for CFY applicants
- Prior school-based or healthcare SLP experience considered a plus
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
- Maintain diligent documentation for IEPs in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide both direct and consultative services in creative, engaging ways
