Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid California credential for School Psychology
  • Master's or Ed.S. degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with high school-aged adolescents preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and relevant special education laws
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities—navigate collaboration with educators, students, and families effectively
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and fostering inclusive educational environments

Role Expectations:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students district-wide to support academic success and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services, as needed, to support student mental health
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to prioritize student needs and impactful interventions
  • Deliver professional development and recommendations to staff for promoting positive classroom environments
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and reports in accordance with district policies
