This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking both part-time and full-time options. The position involves serving pre-school populations as an itinerant SLP, traveling to various schools in and around West Chester, PA. Openings include full-time roles in Drexel Hill/Upper Darby and Aston (4-5 days/week), as well as part-time (3 days/week) assignments in Ridley/Woodlyn and potentially Springfield. Additionally, full-time SLPs are needed for the Low Incidence Program.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
  • Passion for working with diverse pre-school populations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (itinerant travel required)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to promote student progress
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records for assigned caseload
  • Travel to and between assigned pre-schools within Broomall, Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Aston, Ridley/Woodlyn, and Springfield
