If you’re an experienced and passionate School Psychologist, this contract opportunity offers a dynamic role supporting students and staff across a diverse district near Chandler, AZ. Work as a Regional Psychologist for the academic year, enhancing students’ academic, emotional, and social success.
As part of this vital team, you'll collaborate onsite (with a potential for virtual work) across district locations to assess, counsel, and provide direct and consultative services. Your contribution will help foster safe, inclusive, and productive learning environments for all students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology is required
- Valid credential(s) as required for School Psychologists in Arizona
- Possession of an active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience conducting assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling in a school setting
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt flexibly to varied school environments and caseload needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for education planning
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and support intervention strategies
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
- Travel to different school sites within the district as required
