Math Teacher in Wetumpka, AL

Inspire and guide secondary students in a dynamic educational setting as a contract math teacher for the upcoming school year. This role offers a chance to shape young minds and build a strong mathematical foundation within a supportive school environment. Working onsite for the duration of the school year, you’ll play a pivotal part in student growth while collaborating with dedicated colleagues.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a valid Math endorsement
• Proficient in the use of classroom technology to enhance instruction
• Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

• Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere that supports both learning and personal development
• Build rapport and positive relationships with students to promote engagement and achievement
• Motivate and challenge students to expand their skills, attitudes, and mathematical knowledge

Position Details:

• Contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year (August through May)
