An exciting opportunity awaits for a School Psychologist who thrives in a flexible, virtual environment. This contract role spans from September 8th through May 28th, providing vital support to students and staff while working remotely. Expect to dedicate approximately 10 hours per week, with the option to increase hours by combining this position with a nearby school role.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure (as required by MN).
- Previous experience conducting initial and re-evaluations preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with digital platforms for virtual student support.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with school teams.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
- Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations.
- Document and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
