Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by supporting them as an Autism Support Interventionist (ASI) or Emotional Support Interventionist (ESI) during the 2026–2027 academic year! These contract roles involve collaborating with dedicated school professionals to help students achieve critical communication, behavioral, and academic milestones in highly structured and therapeutic classroom settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, ABA, Human Services, or a related field strongly preferred; associate’s degree with at least one year of relevant experience considered (three or more years preferred)
- Demonstrated experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional or behavioral challenges, ABA, behavioral health, mental health, or in special education environments
- Ability to implement behavior support strategies and stay composed during behavioral escalations
- Basic proficiency with computer documentation and communication
- Reliable, professional, and a strong collaborator
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with students in one-on-one or small-group settings to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Implement behavior intervention plans and actively collect data for IEP progress monitoring
- Use evidence-based strategies, such as visual schedules, reinforcement systems, AAC devices, and trauma-informed practices
- Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and personal care as needed
- Foster a positive learning environment through consistent, calm intervention
- Partner closely with teachers, therapists, and related service staff

Assignments begin with limited summer hours in August 2026, transitioning to full school-year schedules.
