Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a positive impact in elementary school settings! An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed to support student success during a maternity leave assignment spanning two elementary schools and providing consultative services to a private school student in the Acworth, GA area. This full-time role runs from early November to late January, with potential extension into February.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Georgia
- Previous experience working in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Dedication to collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Adaptable, compassionate, and eager to make a difference
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services for elementary-aged students
- Complete assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
- Consult with classroom staff to implement accommodations and supports within school environments
- Provide ongoing communication with parents and guardians
Additional Details:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Contract position for maternity leave coverage (November 2nd – January 29th; possible extension to February 26th)
