Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience in a school, pediatric, or clinical environment working with children and adolescents on behavior plans
- In-depth understanding of applied behavior analysis techniques and best practices
- Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing intervention plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and parents
- Ability to adapt and respond to a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to provide coaching, training, and support regarding behavior strategies
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to ensure program effectiveness and progress
- Participate in IEP and other student support meetings as required
- Stay current with best practices and regulations in behavior analysis and special education
