Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. Beginning August 19, 2026, and continuing through May 28, 2027, this role offers the chance to work full time—37.5 hours per week—helping students near Westerville, OH, achieve their communication goals.
Your knowledge as an SLP-CCC or as an experienced school-based SLP will empower students with varying needs across all grade levels. You’ll create a positive impact by fostering communication skills and supporting each student’s potential for success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, valid in Ohio
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience (or strong interest) in a school-based setting
- Ability to work with students K-12, adapting interventions by age and individual needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered service delivery
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose communication disorders
- Design, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans
- Deliver both direct and consultative services for students with diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings and evaluations
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology for school settings
