Responsibilities include conducting in-depth evaluations of students with varied speech and language needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies, and delivering effective therapy sessions aimed at unlocking each student’s potential. Diligent progress monitoring and clear, organized documentation are essential in this role, as is seamless collaboration with other education professionals. You’ll also play a vital role in guiding and educating families throughout the therapy journey.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and within a collaborative team
- Must meet requirements set forth by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
Ideal candidates may hold experience in traditional school-based settings, teletherapy, and/or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
