An exciting contract opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide essential support for elementary and preschool students while a team member is on maternity leave beginning in December. This role focuses on engaging K-5 and preschool-aged learners in a vibrant, growth-oriented educational environment.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in communication disorders and a passion for working with young students. Flexibility and collaboration are essential, as you'll partner with teachers, families, and support staff to create an inclusive and effective learning atmosphere during this tenure.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure for Idaho or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working with preschool and elementary-aged students (prek-5)
  • Strong skills in administering and interpreting a variety of speech and language assessments
  • Proficient in writing, updating, and implementing IEPs
  • Confident in leading and facilitating IEP meetings
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative SLP services to K-5 and preschool students
  • Assess and document students’ speech and language needs for eligibility determinations
  • Develop, update, and facilitate IEP meetings and goals in compliance with district and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure student progress
  • Maintain thorough records of student interventions and progress
