Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Experience in psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on eligibility and service recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address and resolve student challenges
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to a safe, inclusive school climate
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines
