Embark on a meaningful opportunity supporting students' emotional, behavioral, and academic success as a contract School Psychologist serving elementary and secondary school settings. This full-time role, totaling 37.5 hours per week, focuses on providing direct and consultative services to diverse learners and collaborating with dedicated educational teams.

Bring your expertise to a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, where you’ll work closely with administrators, teachers, and families to foster students’ well-being within a positive school environment. Candidates with New Mexico state licensing and NMPED teacher certification are required. Professionals holding either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those approved as Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply, making this a great position for both seasoned School Psychologists and those beginning their careers.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid New Mexico licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Valid NMPED teacher certification.
• Accepting both Clinical Fellows and holders of the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Experience or strong interest in working within elementary and/or secondary school levels.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments to inform intervention strategies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling, behavioral, and academic support for students.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
