Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, organized, and enthusiastic about supporting student growth

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students ages K-12 as directed by a supervising SLP
  • Assist in the implementation of IEP goals related to communication needs
  • Prepare materials, maintain documentation, and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ educational performance
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
